Previously, I taught at Baruch College, CUNY while completing my Ph.D. in Mathematics Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. My research interests include undergraduate mathematics education, the mathematical preparation of teachers, international comparative mathematics education, and the history of mathematics. In terms of teaching, I am particularly interested in Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) and incorporating primary historical sources in courses across the mathematics curriculum.
